A paper trail of stories and memories is left behind in a game of lost and found.  The past is both littered and collected, scattered and pilfered through in the search for home.

The fall of 2015 marked the 10th anniversary of hurricane Katrina.  As a New Orleans native, I was brought back to my own experience of disbelief and disconnect as I incessantly watched the events of the storm unfold over the course of days from television screens here in Nashville, unable to connect to my family and friends.

In Kat 5 fragments of memory emerge as from floodwaters and are strung together through a thick air of uncertainty.  The desire to connect gives way and tumbles into disconnection.  This cycle repeats, marking a rhythm for togetherness in an atmosphere of turbulence.
